Policies

Thank you for choosing our services. We are pleased to have you and kindly request that you take a moment to review our policies, particularly our cancellation and booking policies. Understanding our cancellation policy is essential for ensuring your reservations remain organized. Your attention to these details will contribute to a smooth and professional experience with us.

Cancellation Policy

This cancellation policy applies to all services, with the exception of overnight stays. A 24-hour notice is required for drop-in visits. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will incur a fee of 50% of the service charge.

Overnight Policies

Overnights require a 50% non-refundable deposit up front. Overnights must be canceled 2 weeks prior to reservation to get deposit as a credit on account. If not canceled prior to 2 weeks 50% deposit will not be refunded. If overnight is canceled withing 72 hours, 100% of invoice will be charged. 

Late Booking Charge

Clients who book less than 24 hours in advance will be charged a $10 late booking fee.

Holiday Fees

Our holiday fee policy is as follows: there is a $10 fee for drop-in services and a $20 fee for overnight stays during all major holidays and their surrounding days. This applies to New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter, the 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. 

Late Payment Policy

Clients are required to have a card on file. They are given a 3 day grace period from receiving invoice to pay it. If not paid by the third day, the card on file will be charged. If the card on file does not work $10 additional per day will be added to the invoice until it is paid in full. Services will be discontinued until payment is received. 

Appointment Windows

Although I do my best to adhere to your pet's schedule, I can't promise an exact arrival time because of possible traffic and other unexpected factors. I usually operate within a two-hour window to ensure your pet receives best care possible.

Aggressive Pet Policy

 We prioritize the safety and well-being of our pet sitters and your pets. If there is any uncertainty regarding your pet's ability to accept a pet sitter into your home in your absence, we cannot proceed with the pet sitting assignment. The ability to enter your home while you are away is a fundamental requirement of our service. Should your pet exhibit aggressive behavior after we have commenced pet sitting, we will attempt to fulfill our obligations however, additional fees may be incurred. We do not provide or discounted services in such situations, and you may be liable for any medical expenses resulting from an injury to the sitter.

PetPocketbook

PetPocketbook will function as our pet sitting software, allowing you to efficiently make reservations and manage your visits once you are registered as a client. Invoices will be processed through PetPocketbook, with options for either daily or weekly billing, sent out on Mondays. Please ensure that all information regarding you and your pets is kept current in the portal to facilitate the highest standard of care.

PetPocketbook fees: There is a 5% service fee that applies to all credit and debit card payments made through PetPocketbook. For your convenience we also accept Zelle.
